Fri (4/16) 4:30--Dinner 5:30-8:30 PM: Forest Bathing & Journaling w/Annette Naber, Ph.D ($10 registration required) Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese custom of walking in the forest has been scientifically proven to lower stress hormones, blood pressure, and heart rate while increasing our feelings of well-being. With the help of your guide, immerse yourself in the sensory experiences and healing scents of the forest trails at the Yew Mountain Center. Learn several multi-sensory techniques that make Forest Bathing a mindful and beneficial nature therapy. After our guided walk, we will further explore our nature experiences through journaling. No prior journaling experience necessary.
