Workshop description- Build a Bee BnB
In this multi-disciplinary WS, students will learn about the importance of inviting pollinators into their yards and gardens and how to create a welcoming and healthy environment for their sustainability. Students will build a pollinator home from natural materials, learn to identify regional pollinator species and their important food sources. Students will understand the mechanics of the pollination process and how it relates to the food we eat. Employing accurate regional science, the workshop encompasses multiple arts activities that draw on the visual arts, craft, movement and performance disciplines.
