Introduction to Beekeeping--Build a Hive

Course content:  Spend the weekend with experienced beekeepers learning the skills you need to care for a hive of your own. You will build a Langstroth hive and receive some essentials (except for the bees) to start to welcome your tiny fuzzy livestock in the spring. Topics will include basic bee biology, issues affecting bee health, benefits of keeping bees, and information about economic opportunities for beekeepers

We keep our programs small so we can be flexible to address the needs of individuals and the group.  Let us know how we can make this weekend work for you!
